WELCOME
TO WOMEN OF HONOR
Dear Friends,
I am not sure how you managed to stumble across this site and click on 'Women of Honor', but I am sure glad that you did.

I believe God led you here, because we exist to assist you in multiple ways. Maybe you are a woman in law enforcement or serving in the military. Maybe you are family or a friend of someone who is. The purpose of 'Women of Honor' is to support you on your journey, as you sacrifice daily and support those who are serving and protecting Americans and others around the globe.

For now, I invite you to explore the website. There are many gems placed there to aid you. There are links to vital resources, tools of encouragement and hope, and an opportunity to connect with your very own advocate. We are standing by to connect with you because we care.

For the future, free events are being planned that include brunch, certified childcare, activities for the kids, speakers with relevant topics, and raffles. The hope is that these events will allow you to make new friends and that you will be refreshed and encouraged.
As soon as Covid restrictions are lifted, details will be posted. In the meantime, thank you for your service. Looking forward to meeting each one of you and hearing your story.

OUR COMMITMENT
• We strive to put the needs of women as our sole priority, following the model of their creator who gave His life for them. We are accountable to God for everything we do, and acknowledge Him as the provider, protector, wonderful counselor, and creator of the women we serve.
• Women are served without regard to age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation, disability or other arbitrary circumstances.
• All of our resources and events are free of charge for every woman.
• We are devoted to honoring the sacrifice and dedication of every woman we serve with humility and to treating every woman with respect, kindness, compassion, and in a caring manner.
• Our approach at Women of Honor is based on the belief that women should be in charge of their own decisions. Our advisors will make sure that women, their goals, and wishes guiding their own journey are respected.
• Our advisors listen carefully, and with permission, offer resources based on what each woman desires. Our advisors are committed to praying for each woman, and will even pray with them, only if that is something they desire.
• Personal information is held in strict and absolute confidence. The privacy and confidentiality of each woman is valued and protected and only disclosed as legal requirements dictate information be shared to protect them or others from imminent harm (for example, in the case of child abuse, or a known threat to someone).
• All staff, volunteers, and advocates receive appropriate training to uphold these standards.
• Advocates are not licensed counselors, and serve to offer friendship, support, encouragement, and compassion.

Confidentiality and Privacy – Your privacy and confidentiality are valued and protected. We take every step possible to ensure that your private information is protected. Your confidentiality is one of our top priorities. Only under limited circumstances can information about you or your counseling be shared; for example if you give permission for information to be shared with someone, or legal requirements dictate that information is to be shared (for example, in the case of child abuse, or a known threat to someone).
